Bojinov Not A Man City Player Just Yet - Agent

Valeri Bojinov's agent has shed light on the player's impending move to Manchester City.

There have been widespread reports that a deal has already been struck beetween City and Fiorentina, and that it is only a matter of hours before Bojinov travels to England.

The player himself confirmed the same to a Bugarian news agency earlier today, but his agent, Gerry Palomba, remains cautious.

While confirming that a deal is close, he warned that there are a few issues that must still be sorted out.

At this moment in time he is still a Fiorentina player and there are some small details to be whittled down with the English club," said Palomba.

We are negotiating and it is possible that everything will be sorted out within minutes or hours.

I am working to clarify every aspect of the deal and there is a lot to look at for the good of Valeri."

Reports earlier today suggested that an 8.5 million euro offer had been accepted in principle.

Pato D-Day: August 15

It's most likely going to be a face-off between Real Madrid and AC Milan to land the Brazilian starlet, with the Rossoneri currently in the lead. We'll know by August 15th who'll win the highly-rated youngster's signature...

The world will know by August 15th who is to land Pato: AC Milan or Real Madrid.

Although other clubs have shown an interest, the player himself has all but confirmed it's a two horse race. Speaking to globoesporte, he said, "My father [was] in Europe to hear the offers of Milan and Real Madrid."

He's now guatanteed to leave Internacional, and will do so by the 15th of this month.

His father - who acts as something of an agent for the player - claimed, "Pato will decide in the next few days. Things surely can’t continue in this unsure manner so we have to decide one way and end this saga.

"We will resolve this before August 15 once and for all as there is no point in renewing his contract at Internacional."

Heinze Expects Transfer Resolution This Week

Argentine defender Gabriel Heinze says he believes his future will be resolved by the end of this week

Manchester United's unsettled full-back, Gabriel Heinze, expects his future to be sorted out very soon.

Heinze, who is looking to leave Old Trafford, is caught up in a bitter transfer wranhle between United and their arch-rivals Liverpool.

United have said Heinze can leave for any club that meet their £6.8million asking price - the value of a release clause in the Argentine's contract - as long as that club is not Liverpool (or Chelsea or Arsenal, neither of whom have shown any interest).

Liverpool have agreed to pay the £6.8 million trigger price, but United are refusing to sell the player to the Anfield club.

The dispute has now been taken up by lawyers to resolve.

United claim they have the right to turn down any offer, so Heinze is not sure where he will begin the new season.

Newly promoted Italian giants Juventus are said to be monitoring the situation closely, and Heinze himself is hoping that his immediate future can by clarified very quickly.

"Sometimes the player is the last one to find out where he will play," Heinze was quoted as saying in The Sun.

"I know there are several teams interested in me and that makes me feel really proud.

"I'll know precisely in what team I'm going to play at the end of the week. In a few days, we'll see what will happen."
