Novices and Newcomers - Junior Khanye
Watching him doing his magic on the field is such a wonderful experience. Whenever he touches the ball, cutting through players, the entire stadium roars with sounds of vuvuzelas and whistles in admiration of the youngster’s slick skills.
Since earning promotion from the Chiefs’ development system last season, Khanye has been nothing but phenomenal. To date the he has won the Castle Premiership, Coca Cola Cup, Telkom Charity Cup, Vodacom Challenge and a couple of caps with the national under-20 team.
Judging from the above statement the youngster is conscious of the consequences that comes with being famous and will definitely not fall for the same trap like his former teammate Pule. With the right guidance and such great determination blended with talent, Khanye could grow to become one of South Africa’s soccer legends. |
