Job description for the position:
1) Establish and maintain the supplier selection & qualification procedures for the purchase of manufacturing equipments, in order to ensure that the items purchased are from the correct source with competitive pricing & required quality.
2) Team work with across the company globally to qualify the potential vendors based on their process, manufacturing capability and quality control system. This should include the following steps : Supplier audit, part qualification, and first article coordination;
3) Make sure that the functional requirement and the equipment design is fully understood by the supplier
4) Follow up the process of construction in collaboration with the final user
5) Qualification of alternative parts & suppliers for cost reduction/security of supply; Maintain and improve the supplier management process
6) Build up the database of the equipment’s category, and provide adhesive industry equipment benchmark information to Bostik worldwide;
7) Support global commodity supplying logistics and payment transaction with initiatives; Coordinate the inter-company purchasing, sales transactions，contract negotiation; And manage the documents and records;
