Ten more features for Football Manager 2009 were revealed on yesterday's(9月26日) Football Manager Podcast (featuring ShortList.com's own Andrew Dickens).

1. The game now measures how far a player has run during a match (in kilometers or miles).

2. Improved team reports. These will now suggest new players for weak areas.

3. Team awards now have a history, rather than just showing the last winner. E.g. a ‘Best XI’ can now be produced from all the years stored.

4. There are added options for when you return from holiday. You can have the option of applying for jobs only in the top playable division, bottom playable division, lower division jobs and ‘any job at all’.

5. Player ratings have decimals. E.g. a player can now score 7.2, rather than just 7.

6. Once your board trusts you, you can now choose a specific feeder or parent club, rather than just the type.

7. You can now inquire about which players are available for loan.

8. Stadium expansion now starts after the last home of the season rather than at the start of a new season – so stadiums get built quicker.

9. In places like Spain, B teams are seen as affiliate or feeder clubs, rather than reserve teams.

10. Age and transfer rules, such as the French ‘Joker’ rule, are now displayed for individual competitions.
