AB's future ironman. This young defender's physique is impressive and he is naturally strong in close actions. His heading and accelleration level Brondby's former Nigerian Uche Okechukwu. So here AB has got a player with potentials but the speed in Albrechtsen's play must improve while his talent is developing. On the other hand his attitude tops so in one to two years' time his only performance in the Faxe Kondi Liga at this stage (old information!) will be multiplied. That is if coach Ole Moerch dares to give him playing time in the seasons to come.
Achievements
Has played both on U-17 and U-18 teams internationally and Martin Albrechtsen has already had his début in the Faxe Kondi Liga. This took place on 24th May, 98 when AB met Herfoelge out where he played the last 5 minutes. AB won 3-0 and Albrechtsen almost made it 4-0 with a good header. Last season he played nine liga matches.
In addition to this, he has also played UEFA cup games this season, with AB.
