Alejandro Vela (born March 28, 1984 in Cancún, Quintana Roo) is a Mexican football striker who currently plays for Cruz Azul. Before, he played with Chivas de Guadalajara and Jaguares. His younger brother, Carlos Vela, just finished his loan spell at Osasuna and ready to play for English team Arsenal after obtaining a work permit.
