OK - back to Keith again today, talking about the new confidence feature, which is a personal favourite of mine, due to the extra feedback on how you are getting on. You never know what little tips you're going to get from the fans and the board with this, but of course, they aren't always right, as football fans often aren't…
OK-今天我们又请到 Keith ,让他谈一谈08的新的信心系统(confidence)的功能,这是我个人比较喜欢的一个部分,因为有你球队进展的回馈.你在这个部分可以知道你球队的球迷和老板对你工作进展的提示,当然,他们不总是对的,作为球迷总是不能....客观的分析问题(省略号以后是我自己猜的作者要说的)

"The main aim of the new Confidence system was to present the manager with a detailed account of how they have performed in terms of the following categories:
"新的信心系统的主要目的是显示出当前教练的表现的细节问题,由以下种类:

- Leagues/Cups etc confidence (International managers get this as well)
-联赛/杯赛 等等的信心(国家队教练也有这一项)

Each league/cup that the team is entered into will have a current confidence rating and also indicate what is expected of the team in that league/cup. League/Cup performance is one of the main contributing factors towards how happy the board are with your performance in your role as a manager.
每个联赛/杯赛中球队有一个目前的信心等级,而且指出了球队在联赛/杯赛中的期望.联赛/杯赛的表现是老板对你教练角色的满意度的主要考虑因素.

- Finances
-经济状况

Both the club's current bank balance and wages are rated individually and the board will indicate how happy they are with the club's current financial plight.
既有球队目前的银行收支状况也有目前的工资状况而且有老板希望看到的球队经济状况.

- Recent Player Form (International managers get this as well)
-最近的球员状态(国家队教练也有这一项)

Supporters across the land are always debating about how happy they are with x player's recent form and also that y player shouldn't be playing in the team. The supporters will voice their opinions on how individuals in the team are currently performing. Obviously they will go easier on a struggling player if he's a firm crowd favourite ;-)
球队所有的支持者总是讨论球员x最近的表现令他们欣喜,而球员y不应该留在球队中.球队支持者将要表达他们关于队中各个球员近期表现的想法.

- Recent Signings
-新近签约的球员

The board like to keep an eye on how shrewd you are in the transfer market. Consistently bring in player's that are not upto to standard and the board will take a dim view of your transfer acumen. However unearth a couple of real gems on Bosman's and you could well get into the board's good books. The board will give their views on each and every signing, with 'cost compared to performances shown so far' being the main criteria.
老板喜欢密切关注你在转会市场如何的精明.总是买些不合乎标准的球员老板是不会赞同你的转会策略的.然而在 Bosman (Bosman就是博斯曼法案,这里通俗来讲就是可以自由转会的球员)的球员中发现几个"珍宝"或者你可以受到老板的肯定.老板会对每一个签约表达他们的看法,用"买球员的花费与球员在场上的表现的比"来作为评判标准.

- Recent Matches (International managers get this as well)
-最近比赛(国家队教练也有这个选项)

Supporters like nothing better than to beat their local rivals, especially if they have done it in style. Supporters will voice their opinions on every match over the last x weeks. They will not only comment on the result but could also comment on how they we're pleased the team's retention of possession or how deadly the team looked in front of goal. The opposite can happen as well, if the team played poorly. So it's not all about results, honest ;-)
没有比击败本地的竞争对手更能让球队的支持者高兴的事了,特别是一场酣畅淋漓的胜利.球队支持者会发表上x周的每场比赛的看法.他们不仅仅评论结果而且也表达他们高兴看到球队的高控球率或是在进球以前球队的表现.相反的情况也会发生,如果球队表现糟糕,诚实的说,评论就不仅仅是一个结果了;-)

- Long Term Targets
-长期目标

How many times have you heard a club chairman announce that the board have a 4 year plan to get into x division. For the first time we have now introduced these type of long term targets. The board will indicate to you what long-term targets they have for the club. This could be just to survive in the Premier Division or even to get a League Two side promoted to the Championship depending on how ambitious they are. The board will also give you a timescale in order to achieve these targets.
你可以听到俱乐部主席宣称他有一个4年的计划把球队带到X级别.首先介绍长期目标的类型.老板将会指出他们对俱乐部的长期目标.这可能仅仅是在英超联赛中保级或是在第三级联赛中升级到英甲联赛,这是基于老板的野心.老板也会给你时间去完成他们的目标.

- Start of Season Expectations
-赛季期望的开始

Your board will state their minimum expectations regarding league performance to you at the start of the season. They will also allow you to increase these expectations if you feel that the team can achieve more. If you are feeling confident and believe that you can do more then they will back you by increasing both your transfer and wage budgets to reflect this ambition. However, fail to meet these inflated expectations and you could find you way of the club. The choice is yours!"
在赛季开始时你的老板会规定关于联赛表现的最小期望值.如果你觉得球队可以完成得更好,他们也允许你增加期望值.如果你觉得你不能做的更多了老板就会根据你的情况收回你的转会费和工资预算.然而,如果你没有达到你根本不能实现的期望时,你就不得不跑路了.选择在你们自己手中!"
