Rafael Augusto Sóbis born (17 June 1985) in Erechim, Brazil) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for SC Internacional. He is considered one of Internacional's top prospects, and he played in 35 league matches (scoring 19 goals) in the 2004-05 season at the age of 19. He is currently recovering from injury and hasn't played much in the 2006 season. Milan are still searching for a striker and have picked out Rafael Augusto Sobis of Internacional Porto Alegre as a possible target to replace Andriy Shevchenko, now at Chelsea FC. The highly regarded Sóbis has previously been linked with Milan's city cousins Internazionale.
Rafael Sóbis is a popular figure among the players of the football management simulator computer game, Football Manager 2006. The game's researchers have rated Sobis with a very high potential ability, making him one of the best and most deadly strikers in the game.

Brazil (Seleção): Dunga Turns To Sóbis, Kaká & Ronaldinho Gaúcho
New Brazil boss Dunga has made his call-ups for the forthcoming visit to London where the seleção will face Argentina – 3rd of September) and then Wales (5th of September).
The core of the squad that was seen in action in yesterday’s 1-1 draw against Norway are present, although both Morais (Vasco) and Jônatas (Espanyol) bow out without even playing.
The coach surprised some by only calling up one player from recent Libertadores champions (and former club) International de Porto Alegre – Rafael Sóbis – and none from runners-up São Paulo.
