英文叫administration,理解为球队管理不当,一般是偿付不起债务甚至是税款
When a club has been so badly run that they're in big debt, the club can go into administration. This hasn't happened at clubs like Chelsea where there's massive debt because they have a ritch owner, and they don't need to worry about that debt yet. It's very stupid, because they're paying interest on the debt, and it would be far better if they paid it off.
It's usually smaller clubs that go into administration. The likes of Luton, Bournemouth, Leeds and Rotherham have had problems with administration recently.
At that point administrators come into the club, usually buy the club, they strip it of its assets, and sell players. They can do whatever they want basically to get money into the club. This has in the past involved selling the ground, and selling the best players. They basically try to get the club financially stable again.
Clubs are keen to avoid this option because it involves a 10 point penalty.
