Peter Hill-Wood has backed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to succeed him as chairman of the club.

The 71-year-old heads a board which consists of five directors over the age of 60, and he believes the Frenchman would be an ideal candidate to one day take over his duties.

"None of us are getting any younger," Hill-Wood told the Financial Times.
