Sinner:
Reina had a good game. That chance Saviola had, one on one, was a good save, no matter Saviola f-ed it up. (He did make one mistake tho, during the free-kick Barcelona had in 86th minute. Nothing serious tho.)
There is nothing more I can say about Carragher; he did a really good job, like all the time he does. Agger seems to follow him completely; you don't see him at all, but you know he's doing good job. Keep on that relation and we have our two main center-backs for next few years.
Unfortunately, didn't see much of Arbeola, but what I saw was good.
But, what really worries me is that, once again, both Stevie G. and Xabi were almost invisible, and while we did manage to do something (something - we won!) without them, I wonder how would this season look like if both of them were in top form.
Anyway, good game, good result, too bad we were really bad during the most of the first half, and they were putting hard pressure on us.
Now I'm out to celebrate.
YNWA!
Red Coyote:
Strength, character, skill and style - thank you for this great night!
no more words, off to celebrate myself.
gazza_mum:
everyones making out as if macclesfield just won the premiership!! great result but, it was never that far fetched!
Alex:
Any news of sissoko?
routine:
Superb Liverpool FC still unbeaten at the Nou Camp
cashmoney:
Shocking game
Both teams were awful. The difference is for once we took our chances.
Souey's 'tache:
What a result; only half time but bloody hell I'm going to enjoy this.

Get a f*cking life. You probably don't even understand the importance of this result.
purecro:
Great victory. The team played well, settled down after the first 20 minutes, and got the job done. Riise scored with his right, Bellamy scored, LFC wins. We need more brawls more often if we can get results like this.
azharkadir:
JAR with his so call "standing foot" I found that quite amusing but I do not have the vocabulary to express my delight properly brilliant
Christoff:
Like I said recently, Reina is a class keeper, and any doubters should now be silenced. Riise is still a great player, and I hope he stays.
What a wonderful match, I thought I'd had one two many tokes when Riise popped up with his RIGHT foot to smash one past the weakest goal keeper in the competition.
Bring on the return!!
zen:
I get alittle fustrated that our first touch of the ball is so lousy that 80% of the time we lose the ball to the opponent.
Reina had a good game luckily although he misjudged two cross/freekicks in the last 10 mins.
Bellamy shows what he can offer to the team, and I don't want to him to go no matter what...
redballs:
in fairness barca were no world force tonight. not taking away from the lads as any result in front of the nou camp faithful deserves credit.
we done great on rhonaldhino, hats off to rafa for that.
but barca are not the same team that won the comp last year |
