The tournament itself is called the FIFA Atlas Trophy, and replaces the Bahrainian Crown Prince Trophy (afaik that is the name), a competition I'm sure you're all going to sorely miss. There are 4 qualifying rounds as well as 11 rounds proper, finishing with a final at Wembley stadium (now also Comoros' national stadium, because specific stadiums can't be specified in the rules). The schedule starts with an intensive period of matches from September to March, with 2 rounds being played in each month, cutting down 20,622 to the final 4. The final is played in May, and as mentioned previously, a grand prize of ￡100,000,000 is vailable to the victor. Which may seem excessive, but I see it highly unlikely the same team will win twice (though saying that, the 5 seasons I holidayed with it, Barcelona did just that). Tie breakers are extra time and then penalties, as ever.
