Installation Instructions
In order to use this update, you must have CM4 installed. The latest enhancement pack (from www.sigames.com) is recommended, but not required.
To install the update, extract the entire contents of the zip file to C:\Program Files\Eidos Interactive\CM4\Data - or your equivalent, if installed to a different location, replacing all files. Then start a new game
Before doing this, it is recommended that you back up the files that the update replaces. Those files are:
server_db.dat
pl_hist_index.dat
pl_hist_id.dat
pl_hist_dt.dat
people_db.dat
lang_db.dat

Any help with the data update is always welcome, so if you have any data to send me - players to add, transfers, things I've missed, corrections, anything - e-mail it to me at [email protected].
Known Problems
I have been unable to do the promotions and relegations for France, Italy and Belgium, as they have caused errors which stopped the game loading. It's a problem that I'm looking into.
