Valeri Bojinov (FM2005)

This special Bulgarian breed of goal scoring talent starts off the game with not so impressing stats, but when he shows you what he can do on the pitch it is very impresive.
His form for me has been marvellous with 15 goals in 17 appearences with 7 assists and 6 MOM awards which is not bad at all considering he is only 19 years of age, better than most 26 year old's, hehe.
Valeri starts the game at Italian club Lecce and wont leave at a small price, his price tag will be about 13 million so dont expect a cheap buy.
His price tag is abit hefty. There might be some players with the same amount of quality for a cheaper price. And last of all due to his young age he will need alot of rests because his lacking stamina
Riccardo Montolivo (FM2005)

If you are searching for a playmaker, Riccardo Montolivo would be suitable. This 19-year-old Italian has a very bright future. In real life, he has been predicted as the next Totti, because of his quality performance in his club Atalanta. In FM, his stats are already amazing during the start of the game.
Some of his best stats are penalty taking, first touch, free kicks, creativity and etc. Additionally, if you train him well, his stats will grow extremely fast. I prefer playing him on AM C. Even though he could also play on the left, I believe he plays better on AM C, playing in that position just simply makes him the CPU of the team. And you must remember to set him as your playmaker.
To buy Riccardo Montolivo, it costs quite a lot. You should be able to get him around £10,000,000. He would be a great choice for big clubs such as Man Utd, Barcelona; but if you are managing a small club like Bari, Blackpool, you wouldn’t be able to afford him
Salomon Kalou (FM2005)

This solid attacking midfielder is a great talent for the future, at 19 years of age, he is one of the best attacking midfeilders in the game. His best attributes are his Pace, Dribbling, Technique and Long shots which are almost a must for a player to have in his position. At a value of 4.4M he is a must buy for clubs in europe
Vincent Kompany (FM2005)

In real life, Vincent Kompany is one of the most promising defenders in Europe. This is much the case in FM2005. Kompany can be signed at the start of the game for around £5million, this is quite expensive for a 18 year old central defender, however, he is already capped at international level and has bags of potential. Once signed, he’s value almost doubles within 4 months. Kompany can play in both the centre of defence and centre midfield, although he is better suited to the centre back position.
Kompany’s strengths lie within his physical attributes: 15 for acceleration, 17 for balance, 15 for jumping, 16 for pace and 14 for balance.
Kompany’s technical abilities, however, are not as high: 14 for tackling, 13 for marking, although they are still rather good and improve a lot with experience.
Overall, Vincent Kompany is a competent defender at the start of the game but after about 4 or 5 seasons, becomes one of the best defenders on the game. Users may not want to overplay him in his first few seasons as they will risk burning him out |
