MAN U AGREE £18.6M CARRICK FEE

MICHAEL Carrick is set to join Manchester United from Spurs today after the two clubs agreed a £18.6m fee.
The England midfielder has travelled to Old Trafford for a medical and to finalise personal terms. If he passes both he will become a Red Devil.
A statement on United's website said: "Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur can confirm they have agreed terms for the transfer of the registration of Michael Carrick conditional upon the player agreeing personal terms with Manchester United.

"The player shall also be required to pass a medical. This will take place on Monday."
Carrick, who joined Spurs for £2.75m from West Ham United two years ago, has two years left on his contract but has declined to sign an extension.
The midfielder, who turned 25 on Friday, has seven England caps but made only one appearance at this year's World Cup in the 1-0 second-round win over Ecuador.
He will become the fifth most expensive player in United's history if he signs for the club. Only Rio Ferdinand, Juan Sebastian Veron, Wayne Rooney and Ruud van Nistelrooy have cost more. 楼主辛苦了.... 支持！ 辛苦了
